Melanie graduated from the massage therapy program at Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2006. Having a competitive background in various forms of dance, she has a keen understanding of how physical demands on the body can lead to injury and the important role preventative care plays in longevity. Her work in multidisciplinary settings has provided experience treating orthopedic and motor vehicle injuries, as well as post surgery care for clients of all ages.
She believes that client care, education, and awareness are just as important as the treatment they receive and should been the number one focus in any clinical setting. To date, Melanie has completed courses focused on TMJ dysfunction, which is an area of special interest for her, and is in the process of becoming NISA certified. Melanie is excited about being a new member to the MyHealth team. |
