Dr. Evelyn Lock is a Chiropractor with the MyHealth Care Centre team of healthcare professionals. She holds a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University (B.Kin) and the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (D.C). Since then, Dr. Lock has focused her continuing education on soft tissue therapies and methods to correct biomechanical dysfunction in the body. She retains a keen interest in Sports Medicine, and with experience as a competitive swimmer, she is acutely aware of the demands imposed on athletes.
Dr. Lock uses a variety of techniques in her practice. She is a certified Graston Technique Practitioner, certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider (McMaster University), and has completed certification courses in Lumbopelvic Dysfunction, Lower Quadrant Functional Assessment and Treatment, Cervicothoracic Biomechanics &Treatment, and Extremity Specifics with the Motion Palpation Institute. |
